Please adhere to the following guidelines regarding plagiarism checks:

  • Originality: Ensure that your submission is entirely your own work and has not been published elsewhere or submitted to another conference/journal simultaneously.
  • Citation and Attribution: Properly cite and attribute all sources used in your paper, including text, figures, tables, and ideas taken from other works.
  • Plagiarism Detection Tool: Before submitting your paper, conduct a self-assessment using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate. This will help you identify and rectify any potential instances of plagiarism.
  • Acceptable Similarity Index: Aim for a similarity index of less than [Insert Acceptable Percentage]%. While a certain degree of similarity may exist due to common phrases or technical terminology, significant similarities to existing works may require revision or clarification.
  • Review and Revision: Review your paper carefully and revise any sections flagged by the plagiarism detection tool. Ensure that all borrowed material is properly paraphrased, quoted, and cited according to the appropriate citation style.
  • Declaration of Originality: Upon submission, you will be required to sign a declaration of originality, confirming that the submitted work is your own and that you have appropriately acknowledged all sources used.
  • Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the rejection of your submission or further investigation into potential plagiarism.
